August 2007

Well, here I am on the eve of my departure for school, still thinking that summer has just begun. That can’t be a good sign, can it? On the up side, I unexpectedly aced my physics final, which gave me an A for the semester. It also means that you no longer have to endure sporadic, inanely tangential entries. Yeehaw!

Tomorrow morning is my physics final, for which I’ve actually had fun preparing. Light and optics make some sense, and the equations are pretty straightforward. Most of our work is just plug and chug or simple logic. So, after 10 am tomorrow, I’ll finally be on vacation, and can enjoy all five (count ’em!) days of cerebral atrophy before I go back to school. Well, four and a half, really, since I’m on duty until late Friday night, and actually leave Wednesday afternoon, but who’s counting?
