The light clicks on and flickers over my head. With a rustle, the warmth sorts through my contents, searching for the strand. It takes nothing. Then I am encased in it, lifted up, up towards the light and away. Unable to see or move or breathe. The warmth continues to pulse blackly around me. Again it rifles through me, and now it draws out one long thought from my mind. Quickly I am down again, thumped upon the ground. The warmth withdraws and scratches away with my thought in the distance. I cool. After some time, my thought is returned to the light, filed amongst the others. Then,

click clank

in the darkness, I wait once more.
